In 1979, while living in Europe, based in his Great-Grandparent's home town of Nereto, Italy, Franco Capriotti began providing immigration counsel to individuals and businesses.
Mr. Capriotti is a 1972 graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota where he obtained a double major in Psychology and Education.
In 1978, Mr. Capriotti obtained his Juris Doctor - cum laude from Hamline University School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
In 1987 he formed Capriotti & Associates, restricting his practice to International Law, with emphasis on Immigration, Nationality and Consular Process.
He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Oregon State and Federal Courts. He is also admitted to practice before the Unites States Courts of Appeal for the 8th and 9th Circuits. Due to the fact that US Immigration Law is a federal process, his licenses permit him to assist people immigrating to any state in the United States.
He serves as an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law at Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Here is a link to his class pages in Immigration Law.
He was the 95-2001 Co-Chair of the Immigration Law Professor Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
